TYPES OF INFORMATION COLLECTED
When you browse through a Web site, certain information about your visit can be collected. We automatically collect and temporarily store the following type of information about your visit: Domain from which you access the Internet; IP address (an IP address is a number that is automatically assigned to a computer when surfing the Web); Operating system and information about the browser used when visiting the site; Date and time of your visit; Pages you visited; and, Referring page that connected you to our Web site We use this information to measure the number of visitors to our site and its various sections and to provide effective information to visitors. This list of information about your visit does not contain all of the types of information collected, there may be more as technology changes or companies maintaining the data reviews their system and makes appropriate changes.
HOW WE COLLECT INFORMATION
Our Web site uses a variety of different Web measurement software tools. Life Strategies, LLC primarily uses Google Analytics measurement software to collect the information in the list in the Types of Information Collected section above. Google Analytics collects information automatically and continuously and bundles some reports such as Demographics and Interest Reports. We use these reports to assist with the development of relevant content. Personally identifiable information may be collected via organizations such as Google if you allow it. Our staff conducts analyses and reports on the aggregated data from Google Analytics. The reports are only available to designated managers and staff who require this information to perform their duties. We also use online surveys to collect opinions and feedback from a random sample of visitors. We generally use basic online surveys to obtain feedback and data on visitors’ satisfaction with our Web site or as a tool to receive information from customers or prospects. The survey invitation we may use on our website pops up for a random sample of visitors, it is optional. If you decline this survey, you will still have access to the identical information and resources on our Web site as those who do not take the survey. These reports are also only available to designated managers and staff who require this information to perform their duties. We retain the data from Google Analytics and survey results as long as needed to support the mission of the our Web site.
