Child Therapy

We know that the happiness and well-being of your child is important to you. Children commonly face a number of issues and stressors that can be alleviated through therapy. Caring therapists will work with you to address your concerns and provide support and guidance every step of the way.

Effective child therapy utilizes principles of behavior analysis that place emphasis on improving the quality of the child's relationships and functional skills. Parents are taught specific skills to establish a healthy relating pattern while increasing their child’s desired behavior and decreasing problematic behavior. The therapist may utilize play therapy to observe the child and gain valuable and helpful information. Along with functional assessments, this information is used to guide parental strategies that can be utilized in session and at home.

By using this child-friendly approach, we can provide you with strategies to address your specific concerns and improve your child's well being.

Couple and Family Therapy

Couple and Family therapy, also known as Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT), is a specialization of therapy designed to treat issues within the couple and family system. This type of therapy is typically provided by Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFTs).

Life Strategies utilizes behavioral science to develop effective MFT techniques for each individual, couple, and family. Our therapists are experienced in decreasing conflict and improving relationships. Building and sustaining healthy families is a core value of marriage and family therapy.

Couples therapy focuses on improving and developing stronger relationships by changing interactions and patterns to better enhance the relationship. Relational strategies are taught to help the couple identify harmful patterns, reduce conflict, improve communication, and learn ways to reconnect. This therapy assists the couple in finding a renewed commitment in their relationship by enhancing their bond.
